THE CONTEXT
Most people are living a life that works — but no longer feels true.
And when truth slips, even smart decisions become harder to make.
If the old map is gone —
what do we navigate by now?
RE:WORLDING is a participatory gathering for leaders and those carrying responsibility who sense that familiar ways of orienting don’t quite hold anymore. It is not a retreat. Not a training. It is a space to pause, to unlearn, and to notice what is quietly shaping your decisions.
This is a prototype for a truer life in real time. Not on sticky notes. But through lived experience.
The circle is strictly limited to 50 minds. A temporary world, small enough to be real, yet diverse enough to change your thinking.
“I returned braver in small, real ways. My team noticed before I did.”

THE COMPASS POINTS
Four Territories. No Map.
We are not coming together just to talk, but to practice. In the absence of a map, we have identified four territories that feel essential to navigate right now. These will form the heart of our curated "Deep Dive" Labs.
(We are currently selecting the hosts and practitioners for these labs. Full lineup to be announced in Spring.)
LAB 02 | RE:GENERATE
Leading through the Liminal
How do we carry responsibility in the "in-between"—learning the craft of hospicing the old while midwifing the new?
LAB 01 | RE:SENSE
The Body as Compass
How do we move from "head on a stick" to using somatic intelligence as a instrument for decision-making under pressure?
LAB 04 | RE:LATE
Conflict as Generative Force
How do we transform polarization and friction into a source of collective intelligence rather than a barrier?
LAB 03 | RE:AUTHOR
Identity in the Age of AI
Who am I in my role — and what is my value — when "knowing" and "producing" are taken over by machines?
THE RHYTHM
How our days will flow: We believe that real insight happens in the interplay between deep work and open space. Our schedule is designed to let collective wisdom emerge
Morning: Arriving Together
We start each day as a whole group, entering the topic of the day through short inputs, shared reflection, simple activities, and open exchange. This is a gentle landing — a moment to connect with yourself, with others, and to set intentions for what’s ahead.
Midday: The Open Space (Co-Created)
Before lunch, the structure loosens. The midday time belongs to the circle. This is our "Barcamp" element:
Host a session yourself share a tool, a case, or a question connected to the day’s theme and exploration).
Go for a walk in the Jura hills with a peer.
Join a spontaneous prototype session.
Or simply rest.
Afternoon: The Deep Dives (Curated)
After lunch, you will dive into one of the four Compass Points, guided by selected hosts. These are intense, experiential labs designed to challenge your thinking and sharpen your practice.
Evenings: The Fire
We close the days with shared meals, fireside conversations, and the quiet integration of what we’ve learned.
“I came for clarity in my work. I left with clarity for my life.”

THE CIRCLE
Why only 50 people? We keep this camp small on purpose. Fifty is the number where a crowd becomes a tribe. Once the circle is full, it remains closed.
With 50 people you can still:
look everyone in the eye
be seen when you speak
disappear when you need to
and feel the field shift when someone tells the truth
Who is this for? We are curating a constellation of minds who are navigating the "messy middle" of change in their everyday work. You might be an organizational developer, a leader, a social entrepreneur, or a researcher.
What you have in common is this: You don't need to perform here. You just need to be here.
“I didn’t expect these four days to stay with me months later — but they do.”

THE PLACE
Impulszentrum Holdenweid Tucked away in the rolling hills of the Swiss Jura. A former psychiatric ward near Basel — a place built for thresholds. Once built as a shelter for people whose reality didn’t fit the conventions of their time, it has since become a place for rethinking those very conventions.
The place isn’t just a backdrop. It’s permission.

Simple Billing: Once your application is accepted and your seat is confirmed, we will send you a single invoice covering both your program contribution and your accommodation. One transfer, and you are all set.
ACCESS & SOLIDARITY
We are curating a diverse group, and we know that value isn't always reflected in available budget. We don’t want money to be the reason the right person isn’t in the room.
If your financial reality currently stands in the way of your participation, please reach out to us (info@beyondstorytelling.com) for a confidential conversation. We have set aside a small budget for solidarity-based support and individual payment plans.
JOIN THE CIRCLE
Not an application. A resonance check.
We are not doing a standard open call. We are curating a constellation of 50 minds who are navigating the "messy middle" of change.
Does one of the Compass Points above speak to a challenge you are facing — or a practice you are cultivating?
There are two ways to step into this circle:
Come to share: If one of these questions sparks an impulse to share a tool, a story, or an experience, the space is open for that, too.
Come to pause: You are welcome to simply be there. To think, unlearn, and recharge with people on a similar frequency.
BEYOND STORYTELLING A decade of weaving worlds.
For almost ten years, we have been curating spaces where leadership, narrative work, and systemic change meet. What started as a conference has evolved into a lineage of temporary worlds — places where people step out of the familiar to find orientation that stays.
We don't just organize events. We craft containers strong enough to hold the "messy middle" of change.
We are: A collective of systemic guides, narrative practitioners, and organizational developers. We work with international organizations, NGOs, and leaders who are ready to rewrite the script.
