Karin is an innovation strategist and narrative innovation specialist working at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and innovation. She focuses on how stories help new ideas move through complex organizations — especially when they are still emerging or difficult to explain.
Her work centers on a narrative innovation processes that use storytelling as a strategic tool throughout innovation. By shaping early-stage ideas into meaningful narratives, she helps teams create shared understanding, align stakeholders, and move innovation forward.
With a background in sociology, brand strategy, and consumer insight, Karin began her career in tech companies such as Microsoft and AOL before moving into the FMCG sector, working on international NIVEA brands. In 2015 she founded the consultancy Facts and Stories, where she helps organizations turn promising ideas into strong brands, products, and innovation initiatives.
Karin currently serves as Chair of the Board of Beyond Storytelling e.V.
